About
My mother tells me that my love for photography began the year of my 3rd birthday. I was gifted a toy pink camera with a blue strap that was never to be separated from my neck. This plastic replica of an immortalizer of memory soon led me to my pre-teen years of taking editorial inspired photographs of my mother and sister. I remember tinkering with the cream colored lampshades in my childhood bedroom in attempt to capture interesting shadows and depth. In High School, I put still image on pause to try my hand at short films. By college, I was experimenting with film photography (mainly on disposable cameras). And just a couple of years ago, I found myself eye to eye with a polished Nikon FE. At that point, I knew it was time to hone in on a hobby that seems to come and go as life evolves. All photographs are unfiltered, unedited film scans. I am currently messing around in the darkroom and exploring the vibrancy of black and white film. Please feel free to contact me to learn more about my work, to collaborate, and/or to present my work at an exposition.
